Katja Gra?l will take over as head of administrative services from Alois Zimmermann, who held the position for many years until the 30th of November 2024. In Münster, she occupied various positions over the last twenty years, most recently as deputy to the head of administration and as head of human resources for the last twelve years.

Gra?l is a lawyer with proven experience in university administration and extensive experience in management. She has previously occupied positions as degree programme coordinator in faculty management and as head of academic and student affairs. She has therefore worked in various centralised and decentralised areas within a university and is familiar with the needs of various interest groups.

Ceremonial change of office in January 2025

“In my work, it is always important to me that administrative processes are as simple and as user orientated as possible and that we develop instruments that make it easier for all participants in the process to do their work. In the coming years, digitalisation will surely play a big role here,” said Gra?l about taking over as head of administrative services.
