Neonatal monitoring is essential for preterm or otherwise impaired newborns. While being of fundamental importance, employed techniques for neonatal monitoring today are often a burden to babies. In addition, the informative value is limited, particularly as it concerns predictive statements.

The project iNeoMo?directs at unobtrusive monitoring of premature newborns by cameras. We aim to show the feasibility to capture information in multiple dimensions and to yield estimates on the current state as well as to make predictions on the further development.???????

Within iNeoMo, DSENS sets up the monitoring systems and provides mothods to capture information from video data.
