Methodology and AI: Event in cooperation with ELSA
7.7.2025
On June 11, 2025, the event “Methodology and AI for exam preparation” took place at the suggestion of ELSA Mainz in cooperation with ELSA Augsburg. In two units, the participants were first introduced to the classic legal argumentation figures before concrete case work with AI support - including the use of ChatGPT - was tested in the second part. The aim was to demonstrate the potential, but also the current limitations of AI applications in legal training in a practical way. The event was met with great interest: Around 60 students from various faculty groups from Mainz and other universities took part on site. Accompanying catering and the option of hybrid participation rounded off the event.
