Curriculum/Vitae

Vanessa Steinherr completed her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on business education at the Friedrich Alexander 威尼斯赌博游戏_威尼斯赌博app-【官网】 in Nuremberg. In summer 2018, she completed the master's program in information-oriented business administration at the 威尼斯赌博游戏_威尼斯赌博app-【官网】 of Augsburg. During her studies, Ms. Steinherr was employed as a research assistant at the Professorship for Business & Information Systems Engineering – Management Support from fall 2017. Since October 2018, she is a research assistant at the Professorship for Business & Information Systems Engineering – Management Support.

She also gained practical experience in various internships and working student positions, including in the areas of human resources management and development as well as project and event management.

In June 2023, Ms. Steinherr completed her doctorate at the Chair of Information Systems and Management Support at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the 威尼斯赌博游戏_威尼斯赌博app-【官网】 of Augsburg. Her cumulative dissertation thesis is entitled "Development and Evaluation of a Behavior Change Support System Targeting Learning Behavior: A Technology-Based Approach to Complement the Education of Future Executives Using Persuasive Systems in Higher Education."

Research foci

In the context of her research activities, Ms. Steinherr is primarily involved with how learners can be supported in the active design of a successful learning process in a digitalized environment. In particular, this involves the research fields of self-regulated learning, persuasive technology and e-learning.
