Study content:

Conflicts exist at all levels of social relations: between individuals and groups, within and between societies and cultures as well as in the inter- and transnational sphere. The Master's degree programme therefore initially teaches political science and sociological theories and methods of conflict analysis. This enables a comprehensive understanding of the causes and course of conflicts and also how to deal with conflicts in politics and society, (conflict-specific areas of application). From the second semester onwards, it is possible to specialise in political science or sociology.?Particular importance is attached to the close link between research and teaching and the development of career prospects in the fields of application of conflict analyses.
